Meet Ross Wolstencroft
After an initial career in banking encompassing deposits, lending and the early credit card days, Ross then moved into funds management, followed by some 20 years as a licensed financial planner. From 2006 until recently, he ran a successful boutique financial planning business before joining forces with Compass Financial Solutions.
He can now share this experience and specialist training, particularly the last more than 35 years in the financial services industry, with all clients to educate, advise, and support those who are committed to their financial goals. Ross’s passion is to work in partnership with his clients, to increase their quality of life, now and into retirement, by establishing, managing, and monitoring individually tailored strategies that will help them achieve these goals. This includes the efficient and effective use, and protection, of their available financial resources.
Outside of his working life, Ross has supported various bodies in a voluntary capacity, with his highlight being the 10 years he spent as President of a District Basketball Club in Adelaide, where he was part of a management team that enabled the club to more than double in size during that time, while also winning various senior and junior championships.
He also loves to travel, walk the dog around our beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches with his partner, and potter around in his garden.
